1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Fabrik Audio website and the professional audio services provided by Fabrik Audio. Manchester. By accessing this website or booking any service, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
2. Services
Fabrik Audio provides professional audio mastering services, with mixing services available in the future. All services are provided remotely unless otherwise agreed in advance.
The scope of each project — including the number of tracks, file format requirements, turnaround time and any specific client requirements — will be confirmed in writing prior to work commencing.
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 To secure a booking, a deposit of 50% is required upfront before any work begins. Your booking is not confirmed until payment has been received.
3.2 Payment methods accepted are via bank transfer, PayPal or Stripe.
3.3 Prices are as quoted at the time of booking. Fabrik Audio reserves the right to update pricing at any time, but any price change will not affect a booking that has already been confirmed and paid.
4. File Submission
4.1 It is the client's responsibility to submit files in the correct format as specified in our file preparation guidelines. Fabrik Audio accepts no responsibility for any issues arising from incorrectly prepared or labelled files.
4.2 Files should be submitted as 24-bit WAV at the sample rate of the original DAW project, with no limiting or clipping on the master bus unless this is an intentional creative choice.
4.3 By submitting files to Fabrik Audio, the client confirms they own or have the appropriate rights to all submitted material.
5. Turnaround Time
5.1 Estimated turnaround times will be provided at the time of booking. These are estimates rather than guaranteed deadlines, though every effort will be made to deliver within the agreed timeframe.
5.2 Fabrik Audio will keep clients informed of progress and notify them promptly of any delays.
6. Revisions
6.1 Two rounds of revisions are included as standard with every mastering project. A revision is defined as a set of feedback notes submitted in one communication, responded to with a revised master.
6.2 Additional revisions beyond the two included rounds may be available at an additional charge, to be agreed in advance.
6.3 Revision requests should be submitted clearly and in writing, ideally with specific timestamps and notes where relevant.
7. Delivery
7.1 Finished masters will be delivered digitally via WeTransfer, Dropbox or Google Drive in the agreed format, clearly labelled and ready for use.
7.2 It is the client's responsibility to download and back up their files promptly upon delivery. Fabrik Audio does not operate an archiving service and cannot guarantee files will be retained beyond 30 days after delivery.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
8.1 If a client wishes to cancel before any work has begun, a full refund will be issued.
8.2 Once work has commenced — defined as Fabrik Audio having begun listening to and processing the submitted files — no refund will be issued, as time and expertise have already been committed to the project.
8.3 If a client is unhappy with the delivered work, Fabrik Audio will work through the included revision rounds to address any concerns before considering any further resolution.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 The client retains full ownership of all submitted material and the finished masters delivered by Fabrik Audio.
9.2 Fabrik Audio may request permission to use a short excerpt of finished work for portfolio or promotional purposes. This will always be asked explicitly and will never be done without the client's prior written consent.
9.3 All content on the Fabrik Audio website — including text, design and audio examples — is the property of Fabrik Audio and may not be reproduced without permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 Fabrik Audio will always work to the highest professional standard. However, the client acknowledges that audio mastering is a subjective creative process, and Fabrik Audio cannot guarantee any specific commercial outcome for the finished masters.
10.2 Fabrik Audio's liability in any circumstance is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.
10.3 Fabrik Audio accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage arising from the client's failure to back up submitted or delivered files.
11. Website Use
11.1 The Fabrik Audio website is provided for informational purposes. While every effort is made to keep information accurate and up to date, Fabrik Audio makes no warranties regarding the completeness or accuracy of any content on the site.
11.2 Fabrik Audio is not responsible for the content of any external websites linked to from this site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Fabrik Audio of the linked site. Use of any linked website is at the user's own risk.
11.3 Unauthorised use of this website, including but not limited to scraping, automated access or reproduction of content without permission, is prohibited.
12. Use Licence
Permission is granted to temporarily view the materials on the Fabrik Audio website for personal, non-commercial use only. This is a licence to view, not a transfer of any ownership or title, and under this licence you may not:
Copy, modify or reproduce any materials from this site
Use any materials for commercial purposes or public display
Attempt to extract, decompile or reverse engineer any software or code contained on this site
Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from any materials

This licence terminates automatically if any of these restrictions are violated, and may be revoked by Fabrik Audio at any time. Upon termination, any downloaded materials must be deleted from your possession in all formats.
